Have you ever wanted to see if any big movies were produced close to your home? I know I certainly have, and if it wasn’t for this amazing little tool I would never have known that part of Guy Ritchie’s 2000 smash hit Snatch was in fact filmed 5 minutes down the road from the Nerdscoop offices.
This is without doubt one of the most unique uses we’ve ever seen of the Google Maps platform; not only is it smart, but it’s super practical too. I was able to zoom into my home-town and see the likes of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and plenty of other legendary flicks literally lining the streets.
