We have been privy to some truly unusual movie news stories over the years, but this is definitely a stand-out item in recent times. Is has been reported that Corey Taylor, possibly most known as the enigmatic front man of masked rock band Slipknot, has started his own film production company with a specialist area concentrating in the horror, suspense, and mystery genres.
With their first film already deep into the development phases, Living Breathing Films is to be launched at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19th as part a partnership with Slipknot percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan.
When pressed for comment, Shawn Crahan explained that “We are heading to Sundance with the intention of connecting with the greater industry since we’re now actively looking for TV and Film submissions. It will be very psychological. It’s a study in ‘Did my eyes see what I think they saw’ and is certainly going to stir the pot, so to speak, hopefully getting the world talking, as that is how the best movies are made.”
