There have certainly been a number of internet visualisation concepts over the years, some better than others, but more often than not serving as novelty pieces. This isn’t the case for Trinary Software’s Plus Three software however, which will run on top of their upcoming Open T-Net application.
The idea is for Open T-Net to be directed primarily at game developers, giving them the power to implement some seriously impressive live 3D mapping. There is a great video on their Kickstarter page which should reveal exactly how this will work, so be sure to check that out. Webmasters will also be able to get in on the action, where they will be able to see traffic to their sites in real-time; being able to see dead-links, hacking attempts, and changes-in-progress would be absolutely invaluable. I for one would love to see what the potential is!
If you are somebody who holds an interest in the area of innovative 3D visualisation, particularly if you are a game or web dev, or even just a Minority Report fan, then be sure to check out the project page for more details. You can read an in-depth analysis and enjoy a very educational live demo right here.
