Gran Turismo: Sport for PlayStation 4

Gran Turismo: Sport for PlayStation 4: An Overview

The King of the Asphalt is back in business!

Ahhh, Gran Turismo: Sony’s racing beauty that captured the hearts and minds of so many of us back in the day. By cleverly splitting it’s gameplay experience between two core modes- Simulation Mode and Arcade Mode- it was able to satisfy players that wanted a more in depth and realistic racing affair, and those who wanted something of a more pick-up-and-play experience. The latest title in the series, Gran Turismo Sport has been called by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi as the beginning of a new era for the long-lived series. A greater deal of content is introduced in the core game from the get go, for example; the game features a total of 177 cars, and 19 courses with 27 different configurations to race on.

Porche vehicles are also available for the first time in the series, satisfying the serious gearheads no doubt. The game also features Online Multiplayer capability, and will soon be formally ratified by the FIA at the next World Motorsport Council meeting for two-consecutive eSports competitions (the Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup, with players representing their countries in the former and their preferred vehicle brand in the latter). If you’ve been jonesing for the hit that only Gran Turismo’s tight, realistic racing gameplay can satisfy, do not hesitate; pick up this game as soon as possible!
