Max Payne 3 for PlayStation 3: An Overview

Poor old Max Payne has gone through some rough times in the last few years, to the point that nursing alcoholism and a painkiller addiction in New Jersey seems like a step up from having to deal with drug lords and grimey crime underworlds. However, it seems misfortune is never too far behind Mr. Payne, as he winds up in a drunken bar fight with the local Mafioso’s son, one that costs said son his life. Face with a bunch of angry mobsters and a hail of bullets, Max has no choice but to take up a job offer in South America. As per usual, however, this unfortunate event is only the prelude to Max’s problems… Further tightening the cover based tactical 3rd person shooting style of the previous games and wrapping an engrossing narrative around in, Max Payne 3 is an essential purchase for fans of the series, and anyone looking for a shooter with a bit more depth to it.
